Energy Monitor for E7??

(Edit: and, firstly, unless you grab a free one from Scottish Power or Npower or whichever supplier is currently engaged in greenwashing tomfoolery it is a waste of £35 - read your main meter and save yourself the money.)
You have to differentiate E7 and two-tier - they are separate issues (your day units may themselves be two-tier.)
Frankly, your electricity meter is more than adequate for most night units - that is, your heating.
If you are concerned about washing machines etc used at night and whether it is worth your while then a monitor plug is what you need (rather than a meter monitor).
If it is a monitor for your meter you want then the two-tier is irrelevant - your tier 2 price is the price per unit that you should use on the monitor.
And anywhence all monitors should by default should be measuring kWhs - concentrate on readings in kWhs and don't confuse yourself bothering about prices until you have your head round those.0
