Aldi Clematis £1.79

Aldi have loads of Clematis @ £1.79, and other climbers, Honeysuckle, Solanum, Passionflower etc.

Bought 6 Clematis, a Solanum, and a Passionflower Purple Haze.

Will grow them on, and give as birthday presents. Well maybe....

Should have got there at 8.00am, all the pensioners (including me) elbowing each other to get at them.

i met my plant buying rivals which seem to consist of old men aged 70 plus ! one had the same aldi bag to carry his plants in before he got to till- just like me:p
i got 2 jasmine with red flowers on pic and a honeysuckle, loads and loads of different clematis on offer, i may get one later but have to figure where they are going first! i want an arch to put next to a raised bed i made the other day. the raised bed so far has a hole in the middle, its sopposed to be a garden for my kitten but i keep getting tempted to turn it into a veg plot or pond:o
it will be for the best if i build a cat garden as dont want the kitten exploring my plant pots but the idea of my own veg or pond is more appealing :rotfl:

Not quite so cheap but the range have a range of similar plants 5 for £10, plus Fuschias for £1.79 each.

I got myself 2 x Camellia, 1x Azelea, Lavatera and Photinia, plus a coulple of Fuschias, my local range had loads to choose from so you could grab the biggest / healthiest plants.
