Changing A Tap Washer

I'm fairly confident about how to change a washer but the problem is that my dad showed me how to do it on a set of old fashioned 'twirly' taps.

This set is similar to to ones I have, does anyone know how to take the tap part off?

Thank you.

    Hi,

Pop out the blue and red indices ( pronounced inda seas) behind them are grub screws, you might need an allen keys to undo them. This will free the handle.

If you have quarter turn taps you might need a new cartridge as there are no washers involved.
