Oh it's another one of those sites.
Check out the forums below to see what type of advice is available to help you better your chances of passing the ESA medical assessment
Whilst some sites are charging up to £30 per guide we charge one flat fee for all the help you need.
£10 may be a lot if you are on benefits but you could gain in the long term hundreds if not thousands of pounds you are entitled to.
    full of hints and tips

    For example

***What you say on your ESA form may affect entitlement to DLA***

***In some cases actually attending the medical may disqualify you for ESA***

***How your behaviour within the ESA medical building can affect your claim***

***What to do if you are unable to answer specific questions***

I had a quick look at the site.

There is a 'quiz' - one of the questions suggests that simply opening the ATOS letter will result in failing your medical assessment!

    Scaremongering of the worst kind.

seems to me that this site is not at all scaremongering - the mainstream media reports that many hundreds of people are being denied ESA, and thats not because they are not sick - its because the tests are unfair and prejudicial. Most of the disability charities are lobbying against the changes in benefits that will render disabled people impoverished and jobless.
I see nothing advocating fraud or deception on the site - just people who have been through the system sharing experience and knowledge - a bit like people do here
you may also want to google "after atos" for additional information about this
  • I cannot believe the scaremongering, encitement to commit fraud and downright misinformation I have just seen on that form. And to think they expect you to pay for it too!

I agree, far worse than the other site, which is also pretty scaremongering.
Express apologises to Benefits and Work

    4 March 2010
The Express newspaper group becomes the latest media organisation to apologise to Benefits and Work for accusing us of being a website for cheats.
In December of last year the Sunday Express published an article entitled ‘Web Guide for bogus incapacity benefit claimants’. The article claimed that “A consumer website called Benefits and Work offers a guide on how to convince doctors you are too sick to work for a living.”.”
In a second article the Express also alleged that: A consumer website has even been set up to advise people how to cheat the system.”
Following a complaint to the Press Complaints Commission the Express has now apologised and stated that it accepts that the purpose of the website is to help genuine claimants.
The Express joins a growing band of organisations and individuals who have run up against the dogged tenacity of our in-house barrister, Holiday Whitehead, and been obliged to apologise after attacking the site and its members. Others include:

Mail on Sunday editor apologises to Benefits and Work

BBC apologises to Benefits and Work . . . finally

Tory MP apologises to Benefits and Work

Libel can be a very serious offence

Be very careful of who gets accused of inciting what

No idea about abcofesa but I have subscribed to BenefitsandWork as feel it was £17.70 very well spent.

On another thread I had asked about these people and met a mixed response. One was this is a money saving web site and all the stuff they have is on the web somewhere. It may be somewhere and I have no doubt it is but to me the money was well spent as it gave me a 'one point' source of what was needed.

On other forums, I use, it is usually well praised.
