Extra tax credits payment

Checked my bank today and two lots of tax credits have gone in. One was due on Monday and the other slightly higher one is the one I am questioning. It may be an end of year adjustment or something but just incase I am putting it in my savings account.

Anyone else had this?

  • Nope the amount went up in April but no new forms was redone in December, not sure if I need to do them again.

    ok the postie has just been, got a letter from tax credits, my extra payment was because i had just renewed. not sure why you have an extra one, maybe give them a call just to be sure?
