Got up early as my wife's car was due it's MOT (£29 incl. valet from Groupon, AND they pick it up and return it!) Thankfully it passed with a few advisories....
- Coffee brewed at home rather than Starbucks or Costa
- Leftover wedding reception food for lunch
- eBayed a few bits and pieces that I no longer needed
- Topped up my phone on the £5 Giffgaff Labs goodybag (tried it last month and it's definitely worth saving on this one rather than the £10 package!)
- Put a few CDs in on Musicmagpie
- SORN my pickup as it needs a new indicator stalk; until the used one I salvaged is installed, it's a definite MOT failure and my mechanic is on holiday!
- Checked mystery shops, nothing new today
- Washing on line

Greetings from Thailand.
I handed my notice in at work today after eight years of working for the same employer. This is Thailand and the American owner/manager of the language centre thinks nothing of treating my salary as an interest free overdraft. Sick and tired of late salary payments as well as having to pay for my work permit and visa which every other language centre in Thailand pays for their teachers. So I've got a new job starting in 10 da to the local 2nd hand bookstore and exchanged them (2 for 1 inys time for our main competitor at 60% extra salary.
Dug out some books I've already read and took them down the shops favour) for some new reading material.
Good for you and good luck in your new jobx
