İ am 48 and sadly suffering the mid life 'must have' crisis--i live abroad where the weather is perfect for motorbikes (but the roads are lethal)-last year i bought sports scooter and now i want something bigger to quench my 'needs'--i am looking at 'sanitised' choppers but my wife has laid down a rule that i must use it nearly everyday or she will go out and spend the equal amount on something wasteful!-i was figuring to use my scooter for my daily mile trip to work and the big bike for Sundays but this has led me to reconsider what size bike i need(if i have to use it daily)--i am now considering a 250 chopper--but will always wonder how impractical bigger versions are?--if no info about that can someone bring me to my senses about this need for every toy!!

Before anyone can really give advice, what are the licence requirements where you are? Or do you already have a full bike licence? If the roads are pretty bad, then a trials bike or supermoto might be ok.

i have full a licence--its not the roughness of the roads its the driving ability of the car drivers and general non existance of parking regulations--its a big city with scant regard for motorbikes(my motorbiking friends here say a bigger bike will give me more presence!)--my cruising will be almost exculsively around the city!i take the car and kids to the holiday home!
