I've just popped by to announce that I have met my target of 10 NSD's and I'm very pleased with myself. This is the first challenge I've participated in and I must say it's been an eye opener! I didn't realise how many times I just spent a little cash because I was near shops. I don't know how much I've saved but I'm certainly more aware of money going out unnecesarily.

    Thanks everyone!

    ARGH!

Today I decided, despite the fact I am skint, to buy a peppermint tea in a cafe and a new pair of shoes. £33 later... Also, had I just waited a few days I could have got £10 off the shoes. Feeling v. cross with myself.

I think perhaps I should start a diary, I have rather pole-vaulted off the MSE wagon. Need to be hauling myself back on as I am SKINT (however, I have taken £906 off the debt to my bank of Mum).

But, clearly it wasn't a NSD. Nor was yesterday either!

Evening all! Still no NSDs yet, stuck on 9 due to car issues. However, once the new model arrives Friday then hopefully I will get back on track. Will miss the current vehicle, had it 6 years and it is now 8 years old, done a fair bit of motoring in it. However, the new one is nice. 7 Years old, it turns out, but very low mileage for the year and 3 months left on the tax disc so that will help finances. OH has an important meeting tomorrow so I will accompany him and do a bit of window shopping (could do with some new windows, ha ha!) as well as pay a visit to the Lush shop and stock up on a bit of pure self-indulgence. Then back on the straight and narrow NSD path after that, as June is going to be a lean month. Need to do some serious meal planning and hoick out some more stuff for a car boot sale.

Happy hols to Bdini - is Hubert going too?

If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Evening all! Well my day started off with me clearing up a pile of cat sick from our living room floor, my laptop refusing to load anywhere past the start screen at work for over 30mins (then took another 15 to actually load properly), and my ipod coming up with a corrupt error message.... by 10.30 I was thinking I really shouldn't have bothered getting up. I then came home to find our little sh*t of a cat has caught yet another bird, a tiny chick this time - still with it's yellow feathers, it had either been pushed out of it's nest or she raided the nest for it :( no wonder the blackbirds are busy skwaking at her right now

Still...the day has taken a turn for the better as I can now announce NSD #8 - which takes me to my month's target! :j You'd better put those kippers on hold Spoony :rotfl:

Nargle I know what you mean about needing to do another boot sale, I'm supposed to be doing one in a few weeks - fingers crossed for the weather.

Oh, btw Spoony, I'd check the Tardis if I were you...I'm sure BDINI mentioned something on our last outing about him staying there while they were on hols....
