I paid £4 for to two copies [15,000] for my university to bind mine.
My University was slightly cheaper but you needed to allow 48 hours notice and with all the bank holidays it ended up being about a week before the hand in date that I needed to get it bound, and I hadn't finished it by then.0 -
I hadn't realised it's so expensive. I did some admin work involving binding once. It takes literally a few minutes - punch the holes and put the binder on. Bit fiddly though. 48 hours notice!
If your parents work in an office it's probably worth asking if the 'reprography' department can bind it for you.0 -

I think it was just a case of there being around 6,000 students all with deadlines around the same time. So it would become unmanageable with everyone wanting things done there and then, so you had to leave it with them and come back after 48hrs.
I didn't think £12 was too bad really, someone I know paid £60 for their two reports, god knows where they took them to get done - as they couldn't do anything fancy as the university specified the requirements.0 -
I had mine bound and laminated in small independent stationers near my uni (Leeds), it was far cheaper than anywhere else and done while I waited.0
