register for first time electricity supplier!

does any one know how i can register for a first time supply of paying for electricity bills as a tenant! never paid any bills before as new to all this stuff.

    Call the existing supplier with your opening meter reading and register for an account.
    Once that is done you can commence a switch of suppliers, if you so wish.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    You can use a switching / comparison website to select the supplier of your choice. The exiting supplier will make itself known to you (unless you've chosen the same one) and send you a final bill 40+ days later. Keep a regular record of meter readings.
