Persimmon water leak

Hi I know i am going to join a massive queue of persimmon complaints but am at my wits end. I bought a persimmon townhouse in May 2010 and in November we had water pouring in above the dormer window on the top floor and through to the second floor bedroom resulting in a lot of water damage. since then we have come through a few episodes of bad weather resulting in water pouring into our home on several occasions causing further damage each time. persimmon have had numerous people out to see our home and the plaster removed from the walls as it was coming away anyway. we have been left like this with wind blowing into our bedroom for months but persimmon keep saying they need to find where the water is coming in. I contacted NHBC who claim they cant do anything as persimmon say they are dealing with it. what annoys me is when the site manager comes in he is all cheery and says dont worry we will get it sorted last time saying "You can have ure pals round in no time" they even offered to decorate saying they believe the problem was fixed even though no one has been up to look at the dormer window it is so ridiculous but they seem to be allowed to take as long as they like to sort this. Has anyone had similar problems? Any advice would be appreciated.:o

I have had the same type of problem with David Wilson Homes/ Barratt (over a five year period!). In the end I got the problems resolved independently and had to threaten them with small claims to get the money out of them.

When you mention the site manager, I assume they are still selling on your development? Have you thought of involving the local paper?
    Gone ... or have I?
