House sitting

I know that this might not be the ideal place to post this... so feel free to move it.
I was wondering if anybody here would know of a respectable company that offers houses/flats that would otherwise be vacated (due to owners working abroad for 6-12mths) where the owners would prefer a house sitter instead of trying to rent out the accomodation.
Thanks
