It wa sthe pro-rata that i was wondering about as it did not state in the policy booklet.0 -
The current policy booklet mentions about cancelling - it says something along the lines of terms will be as per the detail on the back of either the schedule or certificate. Have a look on these and see what it says.0

Erm, why not call elephant and ask. Also iirc elephant do a 6 month policy (marketed as a bonus accelerator policy). May be worth investigating.0

Think carefully. I have just insured with Elephant on a 10 month policy. I was previously Saga but because I cancelled my last policy due to taking my car off the road they penalised me when I tried to re insur e for my new car. I was told that if I had left my insurance rolling as opposed to cncelling I could have reinsured cheaper. I was classed as a new customer after being with them for 5 years.0
