Has anyone tried a decent anti persperant that actually works?
I've tried many of the 24/48 hour ones but they seem to last minutes not hours!
Smell doesn't appear to be a problem at least I don't think so, no-ones mentioned anything and I only seem to whiff after a long time and not badly. It's more the wet patches that are a pain and don't exactly look great either!
So if you have any tried and tested reccomendations they would be greatly apprieciated
(terrible spelling I know, sorry!)

Hi
The sure ones are great, there are plenty of varieties no white marks etc and they smell really nice. They're often on offer in the Supermarkets. The nivea roll ons are effective for preventing wet patches, but I'm not keen on the fragance.0 -
I really struggle to find anything that works effectively, both for wetness and (although no one else has ever said I KNOW when I'm less than fresh!) odour so have to change brand very frequently. I wish I knew what ingredients to look for / avoid, would have saved me a fortune I think!
Just used a new sure one (in a greenish can, mineral deoderant) which has done a good job the last few hectic days, still fresh

Have you tried Mitchum? My whole family like the unperfumed roll on. Once tried we never looked back.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0

I have, both spray and the stick (which just felt cacky and nasty too!) but I'm afraid that did nothing for me, just call me tough pits!0

The garnier one is fab, in a white and green can. Think it's the one Ali_UK has just mentioned?Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0

I've got the mitchum one at the mo, just doesn't do it for me, also tried the sure one in the green bottle and the garnier green and white one, i'm not sweating loads, just enough to make little wet patches, which really doesn't look great when facing customers

Mitchum - I used to be a big fan and used nothing else. Then they changed their formula and it doesn't work any more. I am in the same boat as you!I have realised I will never play the Dane!

Where are my medals? Everyone else on here has medals!!

Another vote for mitchum (roll on not spray) but find i get better results if i vary brands reg as am sure my body gets immune to using same stuff all the time. i do find on the whole mens anti persperant more effective than ladies ones.Lead us not into temptation...
just tell us where it is and we'll find it....0 -
For 'problem' perspiration I'd recommend Anhydrol Forte. Mine used to be so bad I could feel it running down my arms (even in winter!). You can buy it over the counter or online. It is a little more expensive than standard deodorant, but it's very thin so it lasts ages. After 6 months, my problem was cured and I haven't needed it since - and that was 10 years ago!Shrinking my mortgage!
