I'm on a bit of a buying spree buying from the US via ebay as the dollar rate is making things very cheap. I just bought one item that even with post and packing from the US is almost 50% cheaper than buying it here on the high street today! that's a good tip BTW for people looking for items to sell..check out the difference on ebay US and ebay UK and see if you can't use it to your advantage. There are an awful lot of UK buyers that will not buy from overseas so won't see how cheap the goods are sometimes.
However, paypal keep telling me my account is not verified and inviting me to verify it...I ignored it for a while but then couldn't pay for one thing at all so decided to see whether I had to reverify or something. I clicked on 'verify' and it happily tells me I am already verified.
Next transaction I get a warning that I should verify my account...I think someone needs to put more money in the electric meter at paypal this morning!

It is paypal though that is telling me that my account is both verified and unverified, as far as I know ebay don't care either way as there is certainly no way to limit buyers or anything who are not verified. It seemed all I had to do was try and verify my account to trigger the 'you are already verified' message.
Very odd.
I did have problems a few months back when trying to set up instant payments via ebay on BIN where it kept telling me i hadn't even got an paypal account, but I discovered afterwards that had been a problem with ebay not recognising the old turbo lister or something.
All my bought items this morning have now been paid for sucessfully and I'm just waiting for the next lot to finish. Lots of buyers out there though, I was watching newly listed BINs and going back to BIN them once I checked completed prices..and in some categories about a quarter were sold in the few minutes between listing and me getting back to buy them.
