Hi I am feeling so low today, really feel tearful, I think everything is getting to much, I am in debt 22k, am on a dmp, but with non stop bills, I just feel like I am losing the plot, I am like most of you, wish I never starting using credit cards, I need to get sorted, get my life together , I have a wonderful son, who hasn't got a clue, I hide my feelings well, I just need a chat with someone I can trust, some hints , tips and inspiration, I know someone on here can help me. I am prepared to work hard, I just want a normal happy life, and not be worrying non stop, please help .:(

Yes but, its still a struggle I just want to find ways to pay it off, I do ok on selling on Ebay, but I need more money, but how? Someone said to me once its not about making it but saving /cutting back and making what you have go further, I am sorry to winge but I feel really upset now, I feel I am losing the battle, and getting more depressed daily.:(

And please can you put up a Statement of Affairs; the may be ways of tweaking your costs to reduce the problems.

Why don't you post your SOA & see if anyone can give you some advice?

You can can do a few things like cheaper brands of food and so on, look at others costs ie:- phone bills and the likes and try changing tarifs or cutting back on calls also look at the utilities and try a web price check to maybe reduce.

I know how you feel. I am very low about my situation but after joining this website I have learned alot from it. I am currently separated from my husband and will be going through a divorce. He would freak if he knew what my situation was and that is why I am trying everything, day by day, to rectify it.

Try not to feel down and dwell on the positives. Yes, cheaper brands are good. Own store brands too. Meal planning and of course the old "willpower"....

I too am on a dmp, owing just over £18,000.

It's going to take ages for me to pay off my debt but I will do it slowly BUT I WILL PAY IT OFF!

Remember: You can gain strength from having "little victories" here and there and knowig that you WILL pay off the debt.

Focus on the end of the race and not running it

in 08 i felt the same when hubby left. he left and i lost everything and in some ways its got worse as i now have £13k debts.
but its ok we are all here to help each other and you can do it. hugs x

Just wanted to say, chin up. You are doing great and keep battling =- it is a battle and it does get you down. Remember that it is those little baby steps that will make all the difference.
