Regular car maintenance ensures that your car remains in top condition, giving you uninterrupted services. Here are some expert tips to ensure the smooth functioning of your car for a long time:
1. Always use good quality multi grade oil for your engine to protect it from early wear. It will ensure more mileage per liter and minimum exertion on the various moving parts.
2. Check the level of engine coolant in your car before leaving. This will prevent any problem resulting from engine overheating.
3. As a habit, check all the lights of your car including headlights, signal lights and parking lights. This will help you avoid accidents that may cause major problems.
4. Check the air level of your tires. Before going for a long trip in your car, ensure keeping a spare tire in the vehicle. A car running on good condition tires always gives better performance and more mileage.
5. Change the battery of the car, whenever you feel the need, to avoid damages. also, check the functioning of the brake system to avoid accidents.

What an odd post :-)
American spellings throughout.
"Change the battery of the car, whenever you feel the need, to avoid damages" - Why ?????
I would say this is spam, except I can't see what the OP is trying to sell. And in any case, there is an excellent sticky thread on car maintenance at the top of this forum.
Sorry, OP, if I've done you a dis-service, it just struck me that this is a rather superflous post.0 -

What a random thing to say!
I got up this morning and thought "shall I put ona red t shirt or a green one..."
I've never once got up and thought "oh I know, I'll change my car battery..."0 -

Apart from it telling readers that the minimum tread depth is 2mm, other than that, I agree...:beer:Ebe_Scrooge wrote: »And in any case, there is an excellent sticky thread on car maintenance at the top of this forum.0 -
Don't forget to check that you've got enough fuel in the tank and that the car is in gear before pulling away too.

My sisters sidelights have not worked for 3 months, She says she doesnt drive in the dark so who cares.
Will get them fixed when the MOT comes. She has not had a any accidents.
My other sister has working lights and had several accidents...
Can the OP please reverse item 3 in your list to say working lights cause accidents.
Good call on the battery. I woke up one morning and thought ooohhh snow. I must change my
battery. It may have something to do with the battery fitted being half the size it should have
been though. Didnt fancy getting stuck with a flat one.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Gawd this guy really is all over the worlds internet forums giving out the same advice........ lol
What's the deal? trying to make a name for himself?
Edit:
Got it!!!! He's advertised a company that makes or sells wiper blades on other car forums, resulting in thread deletion.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
