How do I block zero FB buyers from buying my car?

I apologise if this has been asked many times before, but I have been looking for ages and can't find it.
We have been trying to sell a car on ebay for ages now and it has been bought 3 times over the past few months by buyers with 0 feedback who have not turned up to pay for or collect the car. This is getting flippin' frustrating now as it happened again within the past few weeks.
I relisted it yesterday, and tried to block buyers with 0 fb but couldn't do it.
Is this not possible? I know we have been credited with the fvf on each occasion, but we are having to pay for listing the car again each time.
Also, it probably looks to buyers, when they see the car advertised again and again, that there is something fundamentally wrong with it. If it was me, I would be suspicious, and wonder why it kept getting sold and then relisted.
The buyers who 'bought' the car, never even turned up to look at it.
And we also can't leave negative fb for them which seems utterly ridiculous.
What can I do differently this time? We have a perfectly good car sitting on our driveway, which, through no fault of our own, we can't sell.

Hi Rosie, I also thought you could stop buyers with a feeback score of less then 10?. Have you tried switching your listing to a form with more options ( i think you have to click edit listing)- I think there is a box on there you tick and thats all I know!!0

You cant block Zero FB buyers otherwise ebay would never have any new buyers. Make sure you have those blocked with 2 or more strikes. Have a look at your listing and see if you have anything in there that is attracting the Muppets (silly unenforceable Terms and conditions etc)
Personally I have always found local free adds a better place to sell cars (also no listing fees)'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

You can block bidders without a credit card on file so could stop stop some newbies,
Go to Account, site preferences then buyer requirements.
I sold a car last year & the buyer didn't turn up. I then put it on Gumtree for more then the winning bid on ebay, expecting to haggle & it sold within a couple of hours, for more than it had on ebay. This was a non runner.
I'd never bother with ebay for a car again, except for buying.0 -
"deposit of £100 by Paypal when auction ends"
is the usual.
Puts off genuine buyers, only leaves the jokers.0 -

Can I really do that? If so, how do I enforce it? Do I put it in the listing? But then I have the same problem, if they don't want to pay.
Oops! Just read this round the wrong way the first time! Duh!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Why do I get the feeling, that this might be a ploy used by people who want to sell your car for you?
Had any calls from them by any chance?
(Perhaps I'm just too suspicious!)0 -

I would be quite happy to sell to new buyers, it's just been 3 times now with people who have a new account and it's starting to wear a bit thin.
I don't think there is anything that is attracting oddballs. One of the buyers we were able to trace through fb someone else had left, and it was obvious, from their grammar and spelling, that they have done this type of thing before, and then just opened a new account.
On one occasion, someone bought the car, who did have feedback. They sent an email asking when they could come and pick up the car. Within hours we got an email from the same person ( obvious from the spelling etc), but with a different username asking when they could come and get the car. The account they had bought the car with had been closed, and a new account set up that day. I just sent a message back asking why they should come and pick up the car when they hadn't bought it.:mad:Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

On this occasion, no. The last buyer turned out to be from France and wanted to pay much less than he had 'bid' for the car. And wanted us to wait for a couple of weeks for him to come and pick up the car too. Wouldn't have minded, as long as he paid the 'sold' price, but he didn't turn up in the end, even though we gave him time.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Just had interest again from another 0 fb buyer!!! Asking in really bad English for details why we are selling the car. I really hope he doesn't buy it as he sounds just like everyone else who has 'bought' the car so far.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

Hi rosie383,
Sorry to hear some Ebuyers have nothing better to do than mess people around.
Someone kept doing this to me when I was selling a mobile phone, they finally bid 1 million pounds so the bid was shut down.
It does seem that someone is fooling with you, is there any way you could sell it locally...Gumtree or the Local Paper or even in local Newsagent's windows?0
