i had both these cards 4 yrs agoand defaulted have since settled all outstanding balances, but am looking to improve credit score now what are my chances of being accepted if not anyone else i can use

Ouch, Defaulting on these cards will mean you'll really struggle to get any kind of credit untill the defaults drop off you credit history.' You only live once ! Don't live to regret the past, But to enjoy the future '

Hi,
I defaulted on a capital one card I had four years ago and settled the balance.
I actually applied for a capital one card in September 2010, and was accepted, despite having four defaults on my file that are four years old and settled.
So perhaps trying again with capital one again, I never expected them to accept me again after I defaulted.0 -

Yeah, I had a Cap One default written into my bankruptcy order a few years ago and they were happy to offer me a progress card in octoberCashback Earned ¦ Nectar Points £68 ¦ Natoinwide Select £62 ¦ Aqua Reward £100 ¦ Amex Platinum £48
