Hi all
i am currently buying a house which is a levitt cartwright construction and am getting an endoscopic survey done! the likely hood is that the stantion feet will need repairing! if this is the case what should i do? im guessing i would do best to negotiate the deal! we have got really far down the line.. got our mortgage all ready to go.. just need to get this done. the vendor was messed about at first and we came in and have gone all the way and really want the house. i think the work is around £3k
thanks

You would be more than entitled to reduce your offer to cover the cost of the repairs.
With there being a mortgage involved I would think that the mortgage company will need to have an imput too.0 -
Depends on whether the seller thinks they have already priced the property to take account of any work that needs doing.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac
