Loan payment taken after IVA in place

please help. my iva was set up on 4 april. my iva company wrote to all creditors same day to advise of iva. I have a credit union payment direct from my salary which my employee will not let cancel - they say credit union has to do it. As the credit union failed to cancel this it is now coming out of my salary this month. Does anybody know if i can reclaim this? I am now obviously on a very tight budget, my 1st iva payment is due and i will not have any money left for food if i cannot recoup this payment.

Hi, i would contact your IP right away about this. they may be able to alter the date you start to pay giving you some time to get this sorted out. i'm sure the IP will help you.
