H&M website - Not impressed at all!!

I ordered two tops from the H&M website on the 28th March 2011. Since then the delivery date has changed every week, from 6 days at point of order to now 13th May 2011!
What on earth is going on, at no point have they e-mailed me to inform me of these changes to the delivery schedule, I keep logging in to my account to see where the order is and every time i do this the delivery date has changed again!
I have e-mailed them today as I have been ordering clothes online for years but I have never expereinced service quite like this.
I would expect a little more from a store with such a high street presence.
This is a vent and a warning, dont order from H&M if you want your clothes any time soon!

Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.

Not good customer service at all!
Noticed this on their website:How long does delivery take?
We aim to deliver within 4 to 6 working days following confirmation of your order. Full delivery information is available at the checkout."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -
yerh, may be under that it should say deliver could take up to 6 weeks or more! lolDebt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0

I ordered a dress (admittedly in the xmas sales, which probably affected it a bit) and it was a good few days late - too late for NYE so I sent it back and the return took about a month!0

I've been waiting for 2 dresses to be delivered that I ordered 31/03. I spoke to them last week and they told me that as I also have a top for my DD on order, they've delayed sending them, as the top isn't in stock and they won't send 1 item under £5 on it's own. At no point have they contacted me about this! I said to cancel the top, as I want my 2 dresses!
Seems a very long-winded and old fashioned process, if you ask me.0 -
I ordered a dress and some jeans from them in April (start of). When I was checking it out online it said that they wouldn't be delivered til later in April since the jeans weren't in stock, but I was ok with that. Didn't mind waiting a few weeks at that point.
Well, got the parcel a week or so ago, and no jeans in it. Sold out apparently. So...you delayed a parcel to include the jeans, only to not deliver the jeans. Which were the only things I really wanted tbh.
I've had to return the dress anyway as it's so not as it was shown online - it's totally see-through for a start! Not impressed...carpe diem

I ordered quite a few holiday clothes from them on the 21st(ish) they said to expect delivery between 25th-29th just logged on and dispatched on 26th. So far so good!! but it sounds like I'd better keep my fingers crossed that I get everything I ordered and nothing is see-through!!!0

Well bearing in mind i ordered the tops 4 weeks ago, the e-mail reply from H&M said, "our website gives you the opportunity to reserve our goods" strange choice of words.
No mention ever made that the top was out of stock when I ordered it, or since. They also say, "
At the moment the size 22-24 top that you ordered is temporarily out of stock and we are waiting for a new delivery.
This size has been a very popular item this season and by placing your order with us you have been given the opportunity to reserve this item.
We apologise for the delivery date changes. This can happen from time to time when there is a problem with the supplier.
If you have any questions please contact us on the number below and one of our Customer Agents will be happy to help you."
so clear as mud then! I suppose I have to guess all of this, as I have had no notifications what so ever.Debt free since July 2013! Woo hoo! The bank actually laughed when I said I have come in to cancel my overdraft.0 -

Whats the courier? I couldnt see who they use on their site. How come people always complain like this then say "i have emailed them", why not ring them up if it is that urgent? Just something bizarre I have noticed from recent moans.0 -
i agree, phone immediately.0
