april 29th

hi, would anybody know if 29 april is being classed as a working day by the banks please, i have payments due to go out aand wages to go in on that day. thanks

    You'll find your money will most probably go in the day before and your outgoings will go out the next working day after, which will be Tuesday 3rd May.
    I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

    If your wages were due in earlier, your Employer will have told you. I'm interested to know as I know it is a bank holiday but it is a one off so will the banking systems kick in correctly?

    I would have thought so, after all the date of easter changes each year and it copes with that.
