Ever since I got AVG a few weeks ago, I have not been able to access my Outlook Express emails. It's not my main email but I do go in there sometimes to check messages.
I get this error message;
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'POP3', Server: 'pop.tiscali.co.uk', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
Any advice about what to do?

you need to let the component of AVG that scans email access vai your firewall, check that ALL the AVG components have access via your firewallEx forum ambassador

you should only be running one antivirus product at a time on a PC, Norotns and ALL the major antivirus companies tell you that on their websitesEx forum ambassador

Thanks everybody for your advice. I have been able to get into Outlook Express again. And I do note your point about not running more than one antivirus product at a time on my pc, Browntoa!:)Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
