Do you have any accounts with Co-op Bank or smile

I received two cheques out of the blue from the Co-operative Group today totalling £110.
I joined the Co-operative Group a few years ago as I liked their stance on such matters as global warning, third world debt, ethical consumerism and so on. I also have a bank account with smile, my mortgage is with the Co-op and have just obtained my fourth 0% stoozing card with them (Stroud & Swindon).
Anyway, the purpose of my post was to point out that members of the Co-operative Group now get a dividend every six months based on food purchases, holiday bookings, insurance policies and turnover/balances in bank accounts held, etc.
This only costs £1 to join, so a return of £110 on a £1 seems pretty good moneysaving to me!

I am a member, but I don't spend enough with them to ever get anything from them.
Lets hope they go plc one day:j :j0 -

Got a Co-op credit card although can not use it and a smile loan.
Never heard of this benefit before. I guess for £1 its well worth it. It also comes off what you earn so do not have to pay the pound upfront.
Will give this a go even tho i dont buy much with them.0
