How long for plaster to dry

We are having our kitchen replastered (mainly skimmed to cover where old wall tiles have been removed). Only a small window that is has been bricked up that is just bare brick.
How long should it be left to dry before we can set about fitting the new kitchen?
Thanks x

Agree. And don't get tempted to use heaters. Plaster does not dry in the sense that washing dries. The water becomes chemically part of the plaster. Allow this to happen.approx 1 -2 weeks with the windows open.

Why should the presence of some fresh skim affect the installation of a new kitchen. It might possibly affect the fixing of units to the walls, but I would have though that quite a good start could be made on assembly and other preparatory works, while waiting for the plaster to set.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
