Flights Bahrein to London and Return

I'm trying to find cheap flights for a friend coming over at Christmas. All the usual sites like Travelsupermarket as recommended by Martin only work if the outward leg starts in the UK. BA's site asks me to nominate where I am. If I choose the UK, the flights have to start from here and if I choose Bahrein it refuses to give me fares presumably as it is detecting where I am. Can anyone give me some tips for searching for fares please?

Just checked BA from Bahrain to Heathrow over the Xmas period and its giving me the fares.

Thanks Sloppychops - I'll have another go at BA. They want to leave about 21st December and return around 2nd January but dates are quite flexible I think.
