no mine went through fine, you could call to make sure it has gone through or risk entering twice and being disqualified. Saying this - the above happened to me last year - I honestly thought it hadn't gone through and ended up entering twice, 1 got in the other one didn't and when I explained it was a honest mistake I was allowed to run. Good luck.
  • How much does it cost to enter and do you have to pay now or do you pay if you have been picked.

you only pay if you've been picked out to run, about £32 i think.

Does anyone know how long it stays open to apply for? many thanks

Just a heads up, I have entered my details as I am keen to run the London Marathon for the first time and took advice from here that the £32 would only be debited if selected, however I have had £32 immediately deducted from my account. I am all for giving money to charity as I regularly donate but feel this is a bit off to be taking money from all people who are just entering the ballot. Has anyone else had money deducted straight away?

I think that if you have already put in your payment details it means that you have selected to donate your payment.

This is why you have been charged. If you select to not donate payment, no payment details were taken from you.

    Hope that helps.

If anyone's successful and is looking for a good cause to raise money for then could you have a look at Jalia, a small grasss roots charity set up by my partner? Can't post links i think but its jaliacharity dot co dot uk

Bit cheeky but if you don't ask you don't get right?
