Contacting Norwich & Peterborough at weekends

I need to contact N&P if I'm to use my debit card tomorrow in Europe.

Unfortunately, it seems that their Contact Centre, unlike almost every other bank/BS, only works a five-day week.

The only 24/7 number I have found is for lost cards and that's an independent agency, not N&P.

Anyone know a number?

Anyone know if I will be able to withdraw cash on my card or not?

Given that today is a bank holiday, it is not suprising you cannot get through today. According to their website, they are open Monday to Saturday on 0845 300 2511. Do you have a back up card which you could use? If not, all you can do is try and take cash out and if there is a problem contact them tommorow.

Most others seem to be available at weekends.

I'll leave a message on the website but I don't give that much hope. I shan't bother to ring them from abroad, I'll try and take money out and just use my backup card if that doesn't work.

:rotfl: Try 0800 883322 or 01733 372372 to SAVE money! (from Say No to.... website) You actually get to speak to an intelligent English person in Norwich I think. Excellent service in my experience.

I think the thread referred to the availability of the service rather than it's quality.

I left a message on the banking site and used my card as planned, with no problems.

When I got back I found a reply saying the info would be passed on to the correct department.

In future I'll try and remember to make my phone calls the previous week, preferably between 9am and 5pm and probably not during their lunch break!
