Haven't seen THIS ONE posted on MSE yet, DH just sent it through for me to do because he's ended up on the hotel group's mailing list when we stayed at one of their places in the Borders earlier this year:
"We have just posted a competition on Twitter (@glenappcastle) with a prize of a bottle of Champagne for the 1000th follower. I think we need something similar for all our Facebook friends. Ask your friends to 'like' Glenapp Castle's page and when we hit 1000 'likes', we'll have a competition."
(i haven't stayed at their castle here before though would welcome the chance to guzzle some bubbly there if i'm a winner :beer: - my sister stays in Glasgow and a trip up north is due this summer - it doesn't look too far away on a map?)

oh thank you Ms Chocoholic, i wasn't sure if putting the link into the bold bit would muck it up, so i didn't bother
also - that's odd - everything i look at on MSE seems to be chocolate related recently - ate a free Thornton's easter egg got by the forum - just sent off for a free toberone bar (on the freebie forum) and now replying to ms chocoholic. my diet is really being pushed to the limit now :rotfl:"Today is your day!
