Many GP practices have a collection box......................I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)0

Oxfam and possibly The Red Cross take them.0

Specsavers have a collection box for donated glasses too.My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.

The charity is Vision Aid Overseas, it doesn't cost for any of the big opticians to send glasses as there is an arrangement with the big optical courier for the UK to take these for free.
The glasses are taken to prisons to be dismantled, sorted out and cleaned up before being sent to developing countries to be distributed by qualified opticians.

Your local Lions club may take them - many clubs have collection boxes in opticians etc0
