  • What sort of things are you selling?

You cut always ask at your local supermarket for empty (corrugated) boxes etc and cut them up to size to wrap round things? Similar to how Play.com send out their DVDs if you know what I mean?

Try your local freecycle group, in my group people often offer boxes & used padded envelopes and other types packaging, once you have offered something yourself you can post a wanted ad for packaging, I'm sure somebody will have something for you.

Hmm. If you buy things from ebay, try to keep the envelopes. Bubble wrap is easy to save, so are envelopes if you don't rip them (make sure they have no stamps on) The £ shops has bubble wrap and envelopes in all different sizes for £ :)

  • You can probably get free bubble wrap from the fruit and veg departments in supermarkets.
  • http://www.postalexpress.co.uk/samples.php Gives you 5, one of each size and came pretty quick. You could try and hope it comes in time!

    COULD you be any tighter?

You are unbelievable. Why sell things if you are too stingy and nasty to pay for delivery?

1 Post with free underlined says it all to be honest

Im sorry, i thought this was a money saving site or have i logged into the wrong site?!?!?
  • well said pabs when listing items sellers normally add extra on top of postage cost to cover all their packaging costs. and i presume you are making a profit from the items you sell anyway or why would you sell them??
  • that is a valid point but also because of the way they are doing it they might sell more stuff
  • Well said Gazza.
As a regular seller on ebay, you just can`t have enough packaging, i`m always begging friends & family for their empty boxes.
