Elderflowers?

They are out in Cardiff!0

I just used Hovis bread yeast, the instant acting acting stuff and added 15 or so grains which isn't really much at all. It won't get quite as alcoholic as if you use brewers yeast or champagne yeast but I quite like it with a little sweetness (it gets very dry with champagne yeast)0

It's working - my lemonade bottles are getting very gassy. I used the River Cottage recipe and nothing much happened at first so I added a teaspoonful of yeast. I've just been releasing the pressure a bit every couple of days. Fingers crossed that it'll taste okay.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

I've just made elderflower cordial for the first time ever! Delish :j0

Are Aldi still doing lemons in their super 6? I think I'm going to make lots more wine while the elderflowers are good.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

Just bought lemons from Aldi and they are back to 69p for four, which still isn't bad. Now we just need some sun so I can pick more elderflowers.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

hi i think i have elder in my garden but wanted to run by you what it is like. The flower heads look to be the same, woody stems which are not evergreen and i chop them right down and it stinks like sulphur smell. they then shoot back in Spring and create a decent bush effect. Is this elder??0

If you post a photo, then someone will be able to identify it for you.
Use this as a guide to start. The leaves and the branches are easy ways of identifying them
