Sounds about right Rups. I deal with hot a lot better than OH because I have cold blood, and i'm usually freezing. We have those blankets with sleeves for the winter. It's so attractive.

He he - I have one of those... lovingly bought by the OH so I would stop cuddling him and making him hot! As you say not the most attractive look.

Anyway, (I think) I have been quite good food wise this weekend :)
Did indulge in some nice glasses of wine though.

Today so far - a youghurt for brekkie and now a chicken salad sarnie. Feeling pretty smug at the mo.. but the day is young!! Still OH won't be back till 9pm so will be at least be good till then:rotfl:

At least we know our OHs aren't just after us for our looks :rotfl:

I think I've correctly connected it. There isn't water all over the floor or anything.

Sounds like you've been good today Hadley.

I've just done 14 minutes of shovelglove and I felt incredibly stupid. I think I need some german forest type music to make it ludicrous..

Anyway, am off home now - trying to be good. By the time I've driven home, had a shower etc. OH will hopefully be nearly back... so then can stop my tummy rumbling with some sort of dinner. :)

Hi Betty! Of course you can join in! U will probably find we a a very chatty bunch, and all at different stages of the wedding planning too! I have had lots of support if I have done well, but if I have done badly there is no guilt given- we all experience enough of that anyway!
It may seem that we go off topic too, although as stress (ie work!) is related so much to eating issues I think we can justify it!!!!
Oh I can totally relate to work related stress eating! and boredom eating too, which is worse!! at least when i'm stressed there's not as much time to eat as when i'm bored!

    Morning All,

And welcome on here Betty, :0) I am sure you will love being here.

Betty i did slimming world and it was really good. i just wish i had the patience to go to these things. :-( i wanted to join weight watchers but i left it and thought, let me eat properly, as if i deprive myself of stuff i crave, i will end up being so miserable.. have to be good now.. nothing i can do now esp as fitting is tomorrow, but just be good. :-) *big sigh*

Thanks for the warm welcome :)

I have had an ok day, fruit for brekkie and a brown bread tomato and light philly sarnie for lunch with a rice crispie square and some cherries.

I have decided i'm not going to do SW as it's too fiddly! I'm just going to keep an eye on cals and try to eat lots of fruit and veg.

My biggest downfall is the time between getting home from work and having dinner. I get in starving and end up eating toast :( very bad.

codemonkey have you tried beconase? it's a nasal spray that's pretty good for hayfever, i get it really bad and it does seem to help.

Thanks betty. I was looking at that beconaise stuff the other day.

Your lunch sandwich sounds awesome. I might try that tomorrow if its still too hot for porridge.

Just had 2 slices of pizza and some salad for dinner. OH asked what I'd done with his fiancee.

Never mind slowlyfading. As Scarlett O'Hara would have it "tomorrow is another day".
