that's a lot of weight already lost elliebobs -wow!

I've had a very frustrating day shopping, size 12 was a perfect fit in Monsoon, a size 16 in Oasis was still a bit snug!!! wish shops could sort their sizing out so you at least know roughly what size you are

Thanks for the lovely welcome from those that posted.

Yep, I'm struggling now and, at most, am only losing about a lb a fortnight.

I have ramped up the exercise though recently so hopefully it will improve things. I think my 'natural weight' is about 9stone so anything below that will be tough to achieve.

I'm now back at the weight I was when I first met OH (approx 5 years ago); shame I've got more wrinkles now though!

He of course, can eat like a horse and doesn't look any different, s'not fair.

Didn't make gym yesterday but went this morning and have managed to resist the goodies in the house. Up early tomorrow for more exercise (but a specific exercise that I like so no real hardship).

exercise plans went out of the window this weekend

got caught out in a thunderstorm on saturday, and H2B badly hurt his back on Sunday! he is going to the docs today hopefully to at least get some painkillers. Was awful to leave him in such a state to come to work this morning.

Hi Ellie and welcome to the thread. We are all very friendly :) Well done on your weight loss so far :j

Well I had a BRILLIANT weekend :j:j:j it was so fun. We met at a hotel on the seafront in brighton at lunch time sat. Checked in and went to the pier to meet everyone else. Back to the hotel to drop the stuff off and start the drinking. Then we went to a lovely tea shop and had a truely scrummy afternoon tea :) After eating far too much (and taking 3 boxes of goodies with us for later) we went out on a treasure hunt. It was so fun and had lots of little challenges. Such a laugh :D Then it was back to the pub to compare answers (my team won!).

We then when back to the hotel to get ready where I was shut in the bathroom while everyone set out my outfit on the bed heehee. The theme was Chicago! Brilliant and my outfit was great :D More drinking whilst getting ready, and some of the left over cakes from earlier haha. Then out to an italian restaurant for dinner. I was good to start with (had tomato and motserella (sp?!) salad) then had a massive 4 cheese pizza followed by tiramisu plus copious amounts of wine and various shots! Then on to a bar for a few more drinks and some dancing :) Back to the hotel to change shoes (oppss I had somehow managed to loose the room key during the night :rotfl: luckily they didnt seem to mind and just gave us a new one!) where going to go to a club but decided we were pretty tired so just had some more drinks in the hotel bar.

Brilliant day :j Sunday me and my BM got up and had a very yummy breakfast in the hotel (read that to include fry up. pastries and fruit!) before heading home to spend the afternoon with our families. Which for me included some left over scones (with jam and clotted cream) and an uncle sams for dinner!

I felt rough all day but had a brilliant weekend :D:D:D

Just need to counteract all the bad eating...(but we are off out for lunch with work today!)

Hope everyone else had a good weekend

    Morning Everyone,

    Hope you had good weekends.

Was very good till last night - when I was forced to drink rather a lot of red wine with my mum. :o

But am really upset as my mum got home to discover that they had a break in and all her jewellery is gone. She phoned me in floods of tears. She is upset as she was going to lend me a piece for my something borrowed and that "all my inheritance has gone". Feel so sorry for her as she lost everything my dad gave her in a break in before and has now lost everything my stepdad has given her... so angry. Why do people do this?? and on mother's day as well.

Sorry for the rant and its completly off topic, but so upset for her. they are now at the hospital for an appointment for my stepdad at the heart clinic. They just don't need this aas well.
