I also made Christmas Cake and I can't wait to try it even though I don't really like fruit cake. I spent about 2 hours decorating it yesterday.

I made 3 snowmen/women. Two round ones for my OH and me and a thin one for MIL who will be there for Xmas as well. I had some spare icing so I also made a slope and put skis on my snowman. OH and MIL are watching me. Also made two little cats out of icing too.

Looks fun but I am no good at artwork lol.

yum yum.. all this cake talk is getting me hungry :0) i was hungry so had a bit of vanilla yoghurt and fetl sick but had most of it anyway and then had 2 satsumas.. hmmm still hungry. off home now and having some nice chicken drummer type things with beans etc. yum hehe have a lovely evening xx

wow, your cake looks amazing! I've just got to feed it brandy one more time, then I'll be decorating it on Friday I think. I'll just be using royal icing and making it all spiky.

I had a carvery last night for supper, then went home and had hot choc with marshmallows. Probably had more than I should have, but it was so nice.

Need to be good today though...

Olokia your cake looks yummy I don't bother with christmas cake or christmas pudding as we don't like it lol. But I am going to make a peanut butter and chocolate pie for pudding on christmas day will probably make it on friday as I am off and OH is at work. Then in the evening we can enjoy our 9 year anniversary

Today I had cocopops for breakfast and have got my work christmas meal for lunch (which means lots of food! yummy)

morning everyone.. hope you are all well

we were good last night. oops i just remembered, i wasnt as whilst making the 'good dinner' i was so hungry, i ended up eating a cadburys dairy milk bar. i really wanted it.:(

then we had some chicken goujons with some beans and steamed veggies. we used our new steamer that we had got as a wedding gift and it was lovely. :rotfl:

this morning, just had some granola and orange juice. still feeling yuck though.

I don't like fruit cake or christmas pudding either but my OH does. I will eat the fruit cake but I have bought my own little chocolate pudding. Then I found out that I won't be here for Christmas anyway so will have to eat the little pudding when I get back.

I prefer steamed vegetables. We cook all our rice and vegetables in there now.

So much going on at the mo - so haven't been able to pop in for a while. I see you have been busy whilst I've been away - a lot of posts to catch up on. :rotfl:

I have a stinking cold, but am still managing to eat like a horse - infact it seems to be making me want to eat more. Not fair!!:( Just wish I was at home in bed - but loads and loads to do there.
