Yikes Rups! Time to recharge the batteries definitely!

I decided to walk to the nearest Argos in my lunchbreak (about a mile away) to pick up some hand weights. Hardest mile ever walking back, in the 27 degree heat, trying to hold up 6kg of weights!

On a better note, I lost a pound last week, which makes 10 so far. :j

ooohh shreding made me shiver just now! hehe.. well done ms!! great news!! Jo you def can lose weight with walking around. You should get one of those pedometer things and see how many calories you lose in a day? i know a guy at work adn he does a lot of walking and its impressive how much he walks and calories burnt! :)

lovecake, i feel weird after working out in that heat. My knees def feel weird after the body attack class. maybe thats not for me. i used to get achy knees after body combat.. hmmm. i wanted to swim tomorrow, but then i realised that i have chucked away my old swimsuit as it was thinning out in weird places. grrr..

I may go swimming tomorrow too. That's an idea. I was in work at 8.15 this morning cos I awoke early and OH left early. So maybe I should do that before work... I can see the gym/ pool from my seat at work so should really!

wow u so close to a pool? why dont u and it would be good for the knee too? think i might as well but will have to go to the gym and get a swim suit first and also try and find my goggles and swim hat as they dont allow us without one. what a hassle. i need to as my hair needs a wash before my hair cut tomorrow. lol

I would, but I hate the 'fuss' that goes with it! Changing, putting in/out contacts etc. But u r right, I should suck it up! If the pool us open & OH is leaving early I will go before work.

oh no i know the hassle.. thats what i think but as i wont have time to wash my hair tonight due to OHs comedy gig, i may have to do that tomorrow, or just wash it anyway without the swim. i have that hassle to buy a swim suit too. hehe.. i prob be in pain after todays class, so a swim prob be good. groan. missions!!!!:(

You should definitely try the swimming thing Jo. It's really good exercise. Just remember to rinse your suit in clear water as soon as possible afterwards because chlorine eats swimsuits. I speak from experience - I used to swim competitively. There isn't a pool near my home or here so gym it is.

Speaking of which, just done 1:20 in the gym although some of that was showering and getting changed.

Starving now, but forgot to take my psyllium capsules down with me so I can't have food for another 15 minutes :(
