There's a super-posh/rich girl at work who has a knack of insulting you with a smile. She came up to my workmate who recently got married and said out of nowhere: "Actually, I *do* like your engagement ring. It's... cute!" Cute I suppose means tiny - although my mate's ring must be at least a carat! Cheeky cow...

grr that would annoy me so much!!!I think when people first say nasty stuff, the shock factor hits me first and then I will think about it and fume. By then its too late as that person is long gone!!

I never understand people who knock others engagement rings! Mine is 1/3 carot, which I think is big enough! My OH new I would prefer a smaller diamond with near perfect quality, so that is what he looked for! I have small hands, so anything bigger would look weird, and I would keep catching it on things.

as long as we are happy with our rings, how dare others say anything? i would just tell them to get lost if they say anything to my face.

EAT then! Don't want you to pass out! I am just heading back to office after long meeting... Did eat biscuits.... I was really hungry and there was no healthy alternatives! really disappointed with myself.

ahhh Jo, dont be disappointed. its ok to have thse things at time. its so hard when your trying to be good but you are out of that zone where you can not get healthy food. what can you do otherwise? dont be too hard on yourself..

i know i am going to ache badly tomorrow. my body has had it this week. exercise-wise.:(

code, i bet your ring is lovely and i hate those people who critisise other peoples rings. they are just jealous!!! i dont care what anyone thinks of mine. as long as you and your OH love it, thats the main thing. some women can be sooo catty!!

am eating code..very quickly in fact as im hungry and dehydrated. have a headache now. i feel like being naughty too as im dead tired.

My ring is beautiful and oh picked it by himself because he knew I wouldn't want a diamond.

I've just been given crisps by a colleague. Oh well. Doing whatever it takes to make it through today.
