Morning all! code - Don't worry, I think you can still do a lot in 7 weeks! I did the Atkins a while back which is pretty miserable, but you can lose weight really quickly on it. I do love ma carbs tho! :S Maybe all the stress of last minute wedding prep will make the weight fall off?! Lol! That's what I'm hoping for, although I think I'm too chilled for that! Haha!

Last nights Italian meal was goooood! I took MsShopper's advice and got olives to start instead of something naughty like mozzarella sticks! I did have a pizza for my main, but didn't finish it coz it was huge and just had a cuppa instead of a desert so I'm pretty pleased with that!

    Hope everyone's ok today! :) x

Codemonkey, you are doing so well. You are working really hard at the gym and being incredibly good to maintain that calorie intake. Please don't be so hard on yourself. The finishing line is in sight now, and you have worked so hard that you really will look fabulous on your wedding day. :grouphug:

Lovecake I refuse to do Atkins. Done it before and as soon as i ate normally all the weight plus more came back on. My dress fitting is in 3 weeks and i've been told to keep my weight pretty constant because there isn't enough time to have it taken in again and its quite detailed. Hehe everyone has been saying i'll lose weight cause of stress but I'm a stress eater. Nothing stops me from being hungry. I think if I did Atkins for the next 7 weeks I would be so grumpy and stinky that h2b would actually leave.

Well done on the dinner choices.

My efforts to shorten my cycle don't appear to be working either. By my calculations I haven't even ovulated yet. Given that the bit after that is largely a constant 16 days, unless parsley tea brings me on by 4 days, I'm screwed. I really hate my stupid body.

Absolutely 100% agree Code. :) It makes no difference which 'diet' you are on - whether it's at Atkins, Gi or even this No-S plan. If you 'stop' and go back to your old 'normal' habits the weight will come back. Whatever plan you choose has to be one you can do for the rest of your life.

That's why i can not stick to any diet anymore as i have tried most of them and ended up being worse off (for me anyway). :0)

Aw, Rups. You sound like you really need a rest/break. (No doubt AF isn't helping your emotions either.) Can you get yourself a half-day off work somehow, to chill and get some 'me' time? Or if it would help to have a rant about your OH, feel free to let rip. :)

Aww rups, at least its here now so you know you'll feel better in a few days. As for the fighting with your h2b, I have a post on my blog titled "things my future husband has done to **** me off today" so you're not alone. A day off wedding planning and diets sounds like a good plan. Try to take it easy over the weekend, do as little as possible and things will seem better. Have a dodgy hug :grouphug:

I think half day and no gym today. Tomorrow I have a manicure booked as a trial for the wedding (not that I've mentioned weddings to them but if they do a good job i'll book in for the day before) so that will be nice and then I will relax for the rest of the weekend and use my remaining post fitting 3 weeks to be good with the diet and exercise, knowing that after the fitting I can drop it down a bit.

I think you're spot on, Mrs Drink. Any time I've tried a 'diet' diet, I always lose the willpower/enthusiasm within a couple of months, as it's impossible to maintain. This time around, nothing is 'banned', and I'm tracking my calories and exercise. It's manageable and it's educating my brain as to what my body needs. :)
