  • Hi, both the deals have 6000 miles cap on mileage. I've done a quote through DTD and although the initial cost of the car is less at £9800, the interest payable is £1324 for the 2 years and monthly payments of £155.46 compared to £678 interest and £135 PM with Ford. Only thing is GFV with Ford is £5638 and £6201 with DTD. However, could I not just sell private and make more than £5638??

    Hi

We just got a new 11 plate 5 door 1.2l Fiesta Edge (with bluetooth pack).

    We paid £5,250 - here's how....

    Ford Priveledge Employee Scheme Discount

Normally £750, in March it was £1,500.

Do you know anyone who works for Ford or Land Rover? even a cousin etc as they can add you to the scheme.

I'm sure someone could add you to the scheme for £100. ;)

    Part-Ex

We got £2,250 for our part-ex but it was an 04.
So, if they offered you £800, you need to add £1,450 to my purchase price above.

    Ford Finance

Take the Ford Options deal even if you have the finance arranged elsewhere - then go online to your account to get a settlement fee.

Do that the day after purchase and you will only have around £40 interest to pay but will have got £500 off the car.

So, going on all above, you should be able to get brand new Fiesta 5 door 82ps with bluetooth pack (or similar) for £6,700.

It is the base red non-metallic though but I can live with that.

BE SURE to shop around as even with the above we got different prices from different garages.

We ended up buying from a garage 100miles away and they delivered to us.

    Good Luck
