Loft and cavity wall insulation

Hi everyone. Been reading all the posts about free insulation for our homes. Just had mine done by the Local Council in Aberdeen. Only three areas in the city at the moment and two areas for Aberdeenshire. You would think that as its the Council organising this scheme, only council homes would be done. No. All homes in the areas whether council or owned are given the opportunity to participate. As I said, just had mine done. Loft insulation now upgraded to 270mm and all external walls now have cavity wall insulation. All completed in one day and no hastle. Don't know exactly how many councils are involved, great deal for free insulation.:j
