Train - gold card, child flat fare, underground?
Hello,
Probably a silly question but the answer doesn't look clear... I probably just can't find it.
I've got an annual season ticket (gold card) to London terminals. Planning on taking the little ones to London and will need to use the underground (probably) - can I buy a travelcard (hopefully a small discount) for myself plus two flat rate £1 children's tickets to cover start station to z1256 (i.e. the overground and underground parts together)?
Or do I need to get them underground tickets seperately (and more expensively) ?

I think you can, don't know where your starting from but I'll use Wimbledon as an example and info from the East coast website;
Wimbledon to London All Zones Travelcard 1 adult 2 children 1 Network Gold Card - with discount £9.30 without discount £14
So now try it with your start location and see what results you get as this will give you travel to London and a travelcard included. If no 'London All Zones Travelcard' fare is available then split your journey down one to London Terminals and then Wimbledon to London All Zones Travelcard you don't need to start at Wimbledon to use it.
