I know it's easy to be wise after the event but the website has no contact details whatsoever on it except for an e-mail form. The prices are in £'s and all UK sites (as this purports to be) should have an address or contact telephone number on them (not sure if it's a law or a guideline).

Although they are cheap they ain't mega-cheap and sorry you have been ripped off. Not sure if TS can do anything about it though if they are Thai based.

There is a contact phone number on the site 0870 4714451 don't know if it's genuine though. Have you tried to phone them OP?

It does look like a pretty professional website for a co selling fakes
  • I ordered an England football shirt as a christmas pressie from this site on 6 November but I still haven't got it. At first they answered my emails telling me to allow up to 14 days for delivery. Since then they have totally ignored my e-mails, and the phone number only lets you leave a message which they've ignored as well. Has anyone successfully ordered from KITWEAR? I've given up hope of seeing the shirt and there's no way i'm gonna get my cash back.
  • Not sure what happened to the other thread that was on this subject. Anyhow I chased up this *** ******, whose name has been linked with Kitwear, and he sent me an email today. Apparently he just designed Kitwear's website and has no responsibility for Kitwear's problems. He also advised me that they may have gone out of business in the last few days. If you look at their website it is down 'for maintenance'. I am worried that I may have lost my money, for the Arsenal shirt I ordered on 16/11/06, and I'm sure there are plenty of others in the same (sinking) boat. if anyone has any further information please let me know. Thanks.
p.s. The recorded message on their answerphone, which gets you nowhere, has such a creepy voice!

  • I ordered a boys arsenal top from kitwear and received fake goods from Thailand. I paid £25 and the kit is useless.
I've tried contacting them but they have yet to reply. Has anyone had any luck in contacting them?

  • I bought an Aston Villa shirt from there. After four weeks it had not arrived so emailed Kitwear.com and got no response. Then I emailed worldemail.com who I paid through and they are now refunding me (hopefully!).
  • Hi
I too have been ripped off by this company!
I ordered my husband a Liverpool football shirt, when it arrived it had a ladder all down the back and was the wrong size!Despite 10 e mails and numerous calls(very scary voice on message)i never actually got to speak to anyone.
My sister has experienced the same sort of thing and has managed to get her money back from the credit card company, however when i tried that they said because my payment had been to nochex and not kitwear i was unable to claim it back, they suggested i ring nochex and try to get the name and address for the person at kitwear, like anyone is going to give me that with data protection and all the legal stuff!!
I then tried nochex but they said my problem is with the merchant and not them, but as kitwear seems to have ceased trading i guess along with the rest of you i can say goodbye to my £27!
    Anyone got any other ideas???
    Thanks

    Hi,
I have written to Nochex at the address on their website asking for a refund. I have found out that people who paid through Paypal and worldemail are being refunded. I think it looks bad for Nochex not to do the same. However I haven't had a reply yet!!!!(not holding my breath).
It really puts you off buying things online doesn't it.

Thanks Anthill but I don't think Kitwear has anything to do with Kitz as I have not come across Kitz in any of the research on Kitwear I've done so far.
