AIM Triton - Text formatting glitch

I upgraded to the latest version of AIM's Triton instant messaging program (1.3.30.1) a couple of weeks or so ago.
Now, after pasting (text, link, etc.) into the input area, the text formatting reverts back to normal (i.e. small, black text).
I've reported it to the AIM support staff, but that was days ago. Anybody aware of a fix for it?
