I have heard many tales over the years about how tight Morrisions are and how badly they treat their staff but a job advert in my local paper really takes the biscuit - they expect you to phone a 0870 premium rate number to apply for a job !!

Nice, they might expect you to pay them for working next0

notice they do not offer to pack bags for you - might have to employ a few more checkout operators !0

You can get bag packers at holiday times at local store but its kids that are doing it for charity, liek local sports team. I pay them not to do it as they pack my shopping wrong and its often crushed.0

LOL I thought I was the only one who used to pay them not to pack my bags
(do most of my shopping online now) Everytime the kids did it something got squashed or broken.

IMO it just makes people more lazy (elderly etc. excepted) still expect everyone will have to pack for themselves soon when all tills are self- scan !0

I have found that the "say no to 0870" link a fantastic tool as I am on free calls apart from 0870 numbers

This was posted some time ago and is well worth keeping in "favourites" as ivairiably companies only show 0870/0845 no.s to ring!Growing old is manditory, Growing up is optional! :j0 -
Are they stupid ?????????? at Norwich branch one set of revolving doors broken (does anyone else hate those ?) So everyone is trying to use the other, and if too many people inside it stops and starts, why not open up the broken ones and/ or the working one considering it is the busiest week of the year.0

Ours do too, the staff are generally lovely and if they aren't bag packing, the scouts sometimes are for money for their club.:D
0870 number for a job tho! Tut tut0 -
I returned a Morrisons "Magnum" that had a dead fly within the packet. They were very sympathetic until they got their hands on the fly. Then they did not want to know me.
Also, I always notice a funny smell in their stores - an unpleasant bad food smell.Nice to save.0
