Just went online to check my account, and I found the following entries:
21 Apr 2011 CHG GTEE CARD PYMT REF 30.00 -
21 Apr 2011 CHG PAID REFERRAL REF 15.00 -
21 Apr 2011 CHG RETURNED ITEM REF 22.00 -
21 Apr 2011 CHG S/C REFUND 71.43 -
I did not ask for a refund, so I am not sure why this has happened (not that I am complaining or anything!). Just worried that the bank may reverse it

If you don't understand the reason you have been credited the money, speak to the bank.
It could be an error on their part, and so they may well ask for it back. But hopefully it is genuine and you can keep the money. However I'd know if the bank had previously taken £140 of mine that I didn't understand why."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
the £140 seems about right for the charges I have received over the past few years, it just seems odd that they have decided to refund them. I have had past dealings with this bank and they tend to stick very firmly to not refunding charges unless it was due to an error on the bank's part. I just don't understand what prompted the refundDEBT OUTSTANDING [14.01.12]: £6,900 / £21,725 (REPAID 68%)0
