Lodge your appeal - you can always cancel it later.
You will then get a copy of all the papers for the case - a copy of her DLA and also a copy of the medical report that the GP submitted. Once you have those you might be able to see what let her claim down. If it is the GP report get more medical reports from other health professionals that she is involved with (nurse, dermatlolgist etc), and submit them as evidence in her case. Make sure that any evidence refers to how her condition was at the time of the claim and also that it focuses on her ability to care for herself. 8 year olds will no longer need help washing and dressing but an 8 year old with her problems does.0 -
I make a pasta dish with the type of smoked sausage you describe. Boil some pasta, I use taggliatelle but other pasta would do just as well. Drain and add it to a tin of chopped tomatoes, some basil, dried or fresh, a crushed garlic clove or two depending on taste. Add in a chopped pepper or onion and then add the sliced smoked sausage. If you have any a bit of mozzerella cheese grated on top or mixed in with it is nice. I then bake it in the oven until it is piping hot. If you want the peppers or onion softer then you can fry them first but we prefer them a bit crisp.
You can vary the ingredients according to what you have to hand but it spreads one smoked sausage to feed a number of people. If need be increase the tomatoes to two tins.
I also agree with the others that based on what you have told us that you should appeal the DLA.0 -
I have spoken to OH and we will be apealing the decision and seeing what happens, it can take months to get sorted out so in the mean time i will be making sure i get the spending under controll. i have even resisted the urge to go to the shop 2 doors up from me where they just told me in the garden they have reduced easter eggs....0
