Hi I was in the garden yesterday pottering about and there were swarms and swarms of greenfly everywhere I was covered in them  I had my poor son picking them out of my hair and off my back :rotfl:
I was wondering if anyone else has had this at the moment I know I cant do any thing about them but wondered if anyone else has noticed them too !!!!!

No swarms here yet, which part of the UK are you in?
Hopefully you will also get an increase in the ladybird population to deal with them.0 -
North West not too far from Manchester
Had quite a lot of ladybirds too though xx0 -

I had a few on my alpine strawberries a cpl of weeks ago, I gave them the soapy water treatment and so far, touch wood, they havn't returned.0

I saw a few yesterday but not yet swarms of them here in the North. I have enough to contend with as it is, what with whitefly on my strawberries, lily beetle larvae chomping away on my treasured lilies and slugs brought out by an overnight shower! I am going to have nothing left soon!"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"0

Unbelievable swarms in Derbyshire yesterday, too. Think I inhaled a few!0

Had a text off daughter this morning asking if it was flying ant day....No I replied as this is usually towards the end of July, got a response saying "Well it's flying something day today".
She's currently just south of Gloucester; so only about 20 miles tops away as the crow flies.
Hope the greenfly aren't getting closer0 -
Jasper and I are in Hampshire - first noticeable swarms of greenfly on our roses sighted on Thursday. Little green b*****ds.
I'm afraid I got out the ol' Roseclear spray, purchased last year (after shutting Jasper carefully indoors, of course). Don't like doing it, but the swarms were too many...:o0 -
I am suffering too with my roses .. They are everywhere .. Tonight when cooler i will water with a little bit of washing up liquid to remove them..0
