Advice re Neff kitchen appliances

Hi, just wondered if anyone had any good or bad experiences of Neff kitchen appliances ?
I am looking to fit a new Neff induction hob (T42D20X1) above a Neff oven (B16P42N0GB) that has pyrolytic cleaning facility. I am also proposing to buy a Neff extractor fan (D2654) and Neff dishwasher (S5943X2). Any advice re these appliances or alternatives would be appreciated, also any decent suppliers of the above.
I am in York if anyone knows of any good appliance dealers in this area.
Thanks

yorkypikey- We are a Neff Master Partner so I think I can speak with a degree of authority on the subject.
Induction hob (T42D20X1) above a Neff oven (B16P42N0GB) that has pyrolytic cleaning facility. No problem with this as long as you observe the manufacturers recommendations on installation. The oven selected is a fairly high spec one so you may want to consider the pyrolitic B15P42 with the T42E20 as a lower cost and slightly lower spec appliance combination if required.
Unless pyrolitic is essential look into slideaway door models with telescopic shelves. Very useful features for built under ovens.
Is your choice of extractor driven by the need to use the extractor in an existing kitchen. I would look at a higher spec unit or even a wall mounted chimney extractor is possible to get more effective extraction.
Dishwasher - No alternatives available. its the only 45cm model Neff do. Good product.
Hope that helps. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Thanks for your help, as with all answers and advice it seems to also pose other questions and queries, I would be grateful for some further advice please, if it helps the kitchen is a complete refit, new plasterboard/plaster/units and appliances due to burst pipe in December.
Do you know offhand what the manufacturers recommendations are installation of the original hob/oven combination ? (I am looking at a standard 600mm under worktop housing unit and 38mm thickness worktop if that helps)
What are the main differences between T42D20X1 and T42E20 hobs ?
Extractor fan, kitchen is only small 2.2m x 2.8m and the D2654 scored well in a which survey I saw, dont really like chimney type extractors but would welcome recommendations on other types. Will be on an outside wall so will be ducted straight through the wall.
Dishwasher, you've confirmed my decision with that thanks, one less thing to investigate further !
Thanks in anticipation.0 -

If you're looking for 38mm laminate worktops, flush fitted induction hobs are out of the questions. This makes almost all hob/oven combinations as possible candidates. Rather than look for exclusions or manufacturers recommended combinations pick you preferred oven/hob and check the installation diagrams to see if there is likely to be a clash. You really want to be certain that the installed combination isnt going to fall foul of manufadctuers ventilation requirements.
--What are the main differences between T42D20X1 and T42E20 hobs ?
The T42E20 is supplied with a power management system that allows the hob to operation on a 13A feed if a 30A feed isnt available. It will allow normal operation on individual rings until such a time that the total load exceeds 13A at which point power output to individual rings is capped to not overload the circuit. Its aimed at the replacement market to offer a cost effective induction hob option.

Consider a telescopic model such as the D4672 from neff if you dont like the wall mounted chimney units. They are quieter and more powerful. We’ve had to remove your signature. Thanks for your advice and help so far.
Have been looking at the Neff website and various product dimension PDF's, both the T42D20 and T42E20 look as if they can be fitted into worktops over 30mm thick when fitted above a built under oven, am I reading that correctly ?
I still fancy the B16P42 oven ! have had a look at the installation instructions for that online, would like it in conjunction with T42D20 hob would that be an ok combo ? if so thats my mind madeup.
Its part of a complete kitchen install so the various cut outs for ventilation wont be a problem I dont think, unless you know otherwise ?
Anything else I should look out for ?
Thanks again.0
