Co-op Members Credit Card

Hello
I've just applied and been sent the credit agreement for this card - however there is no information on the leaflet about how to pay, as I intend to pay it off in full every month to use it for cashback. Usually there is a Direct Debit form with these things but not this time. Interestingly, there is a clause on the back of the form in teeny-weeny print:
8.8 You may pay either the minimum payment or the full payment every month by means of Direct Debit option by calling us on 0800 600 8000
I know it's not exactly making it impossible to pay by DD, but I find it very un Co-op like to make it harder to set up a regular payment like this - even MBNA/Barclaycard make it easier to set up a DD. Unless I'm jumping the gun and I get a DD form sent with my card?

All DDIs are set up electronically these days via AUDDIS, meaning paper forms are somewhat redundant.
Why don't you simply call the freephone number given to set it up?0 -
Yeah I know I could - just a bit surprised as normally it's done electronically! Don't know if it's the Co-op being a bit old fashioned or perhaps hoping people will forget meaning it's less likely people will pay off in full every month.0

Hi Marky, i also have a Co op members credit card & they sent me a direct debit mandate form with my card however i managed to lose this, so i called them up to request another one which they promptly despatched. Once filled in, just post it back to them to set up a direct debit. I also set up the payment details in my online banking incase the direct debit wasn't set up before the next due payment.
Hope this helps0 -
Just realised you can also download a direct debit mandate form here if you need it fast

The CC Agreement is a list of all the Terms & Conditions on the account, it is not meant to be the way they let you know how to make payment arrangements. I would be very surprised if you hadn't received other information with the payment info more clearly stated. I am certain that the Coop is not trying to trick you into paying interest.loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.0 -
skybluesaver - thanks that's a big help!
redpete - I had to read the small print as the leaflet they sent had nothing on it about how to pay.0
